Arrowhead Resort is on the Turtle Chain of Lakes in a private bay on Rice Lake, where no other buildings can be seen. Rice Lake is approximately 250 acres and is fed and drained by the Turtle River. There is excellent walleye, musky, and pan fishing on Rice Lake. Cozy housekeeping cabins are comfortably furnished with hot and cold water and showers. All linens are included except for towels and wash cloths. Each cabin is well spaced for absolute privacy. With every cabin a boat is included. We also have a private swimming beach that is available for our guests at Arrowhead Resort.
Arrowhead Resort offers a true wilderness atmosphere and is only two miles from the town of Mercer. Plus it is only 15 minutes to a casino. We are open year round so you can enjoy the activities for all four seasons.
Arrowhead Lodge has a fantastic scenic view of Rice Lake where you can enjoy pizza and a drink in front of the fireplace while swapping fish stories or playing a game of pool or darts in the rustic bar.
Rice Lake produces excellent crappie, small mouth bass, HUGE walleye, and tackle busting musky.

Arrowhead is second to none and Iron County is the home of the most prized Big Game Trophy in Wisconsin. We start baiting blind locations 5 to 6 weeks prior to the opening of the season which is usually in September. The baits are dropped daily by your host Jim Lambert and licensed guides. Bait locations are held far enough apart to insure a minimum of bears using more than one bait. We invite you to join us this fall in hunting on of North America's finest trophy animals, the black bear. It's a thrill you'll long remember. Book your hunt well in advance of the season to insure your reservation.

Bear Hunting Rates
Weekly Rate ~ $ 800.00 per week per hunter. This rate includes your cabin, hot and cold running water, shower housekeeping facilities, clean linen and a boat. Call Jim for more information.
